I believe that every man and woman in this world is entitled to only
the things they work for. That YOU are in control, and you get no less than what
you earn with your own two hands and the sense God gave you to use. Moping
around when men/women/life do you oh-so-wrong doesn't do a damn good thing.
Self-pity is venomous. It's utterly useless and a terrible state of mind. Not to
mention, it's lame.
Hey, I've got more mental disorders than you can shake a leg at, you
don't see me whimpering about how my fits scare off the masses. The way I see
it, just a roadblock I have to learn to scuttle around, or knock over with an
eighteen-wheeler. Either way, you can bet I'm going to do something productive
and work to get over the hill.
I also believe, quite firmly, that there is no such thing as
'needing a man or woman' to be complete. The shmucks that seem to live by this
really rub me the wrong way. I simply can't stand a mushy-gooey depressed
whiner, those guys and gals that go on and on about 'Oh, I'm such a nice person,
but women/men/whatever just don't see anything in me!' 'I gave him everything,
why did he leave me?' 'She was my whole world!' blathy-blah-fucking-blah.
There's much more to life than having a companion glued to your side. There's
nature to frolic in, girlfriends to rock the night with, and politics to rip
your hair out over. Get into life, shmucks! Please and thank you.
